What happened

A flash flood along the Bhotekoshi–Trishuli corridor struck Timure, Syabrubesi and nearby communities near the Nepal–Tibet border. Lives were lost, people remain missing, and homes, roads, bridges and hydropower facilities were destroyed. Rescue and assessment are ongoing.

Our commitment

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has pledged ₹1 crore for Nepal relief. VT Seva USA is raising funds toward this commitment. The funds will be disbursed directly by VT Seva USA to the Government of Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund for Nepal relief.
