What happened

A flash flood along the Bhotekoshi–Trishuli corridor struck Timure, Syabrubesi and nearby communities near the Nepal–Tibet border. Lives were lost, people remain missing, and homes, roads, bridges and hydropower facilities were destroyed. Rescue and assessment are ongoing.

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has pledged ₹1 crore for Nepal. VT Seva USA will grant the funds to its sister organization Vikasa Tarangini (India) for relief through authorized channels.
